Charles Lynn
Director of Operations
Born in Columbus, GA and raised in Lancaster County, VA, Charles began playing golf at the age of 5 thanks to his father who is an accomplished player as well. After a successful junior golf career winning local and national titles, Charles decided to turn pro as soon as possible. He worked as a cart assistant at the age of 14 and became Assistant to the Pro at the age of 16. Finishing high school at the age of 16 allowed Charles to jump-start a career in the golf industry. He has worked his way up through the golf business throughout the years. His accomplishments include becoming the Head Professional at a private course and Director of Golf at a semi-private course. Charles has been with Hampton Roads Golf Clubs for 19 years and is the Director of Operations. He holds numerous course records and also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management.
David Mascitti, PGA
Head Golf Professional
born and raised in Newport News, Virginia. He attended Ferguson High School for one year and then moved to Virginia Beach where he played high school golf at Frank W. Cox. He earned his B.S. in Business Management at Elon College while playing on the golf team. He started his golf career at PGA National in West Palm Beach, Florida in 1994. After passing his Playing Ability Test (PAT) a few years later at Club Med in Port St. Lucie, Florida, he began his PGA career at Kingsmill Resort & Club as an Assistant Professional. In 1998, he accepted the same position at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland. He earned his PGA Membership in 2008. For 10 years, he was the Head Professional at The Pines at Elizabeth City and for almost 3 years he held the same position at Greenbrier Country Club in Chesapeake, Virginia. He went back to Kingsmill to run the Woods Course, and then went to James River Country Club in Newport News as the 1st Assistant. He’s spent the last year and a half back at The Pines at Elizabeth City as the Head Golf Professional.
David is looking forward to bringing his exemplary customer service and teaching skills to Honey Bee. In his free time, he visits his daughter at East Carolina University, spends time with his wife and enjoys fishing, watching the Commanders and playing the great game of golf!
Reynolds Dawson, PGA
Head Teaching Professional
Reynolds resides in Chesapeake, VA with his wife Becky and has two children, John & Sarah Dawson. He is also a lifetime member of the PGA (30 Years). Graduate first colonial high school and was inducted in the Hall of Fame. When he’s not at work he enjoys playing golf, biking and spending time with family and friends.
Jordan Green
Assistant Golf Professional
Raised in Virginia Beach, playing Honey Bee and other local courses, Jordan traveled to California to attend the Golf Academy of America in San Diego. After graduating he returned home and began his career teaching kids at The First Tee of Hampton Roads. He was then hired as the a ssistant professional at Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club. He was invited back by The First Tee to be the Director of Golf shortly before COVID. After being furloughed and then sustaining a back injury that required surgery, he was out of the golf industry for a few years. He is excited to be back doing what he loves at a course he grew up playing.
